The Whyte Harte Hotel
Bletchingley
The Whyte Harte Hotel, Bletchingley, Surrey, Is one of the few surviving Medieval Inns in Britain today. Said to be dated from 1388, the Whyte Harte has many of its structural beams in place, which are thought to have been taken from ships of the period.
Since the reign of Richard II of England, the Whyte Harte has offered good cheer, fine food, locally bewed ales and comfort to the local folk and travellers alike.
The Hotel Offers, with a choice of nine bedrooms, a peaceful venue for a quiet weekend in the country.
Sunday lunches in the bar next to a roaring log fire, enjoy our superb a la carte menu, or stay for a night or two. Whatever you decide, we look forward to welcoming you to the Whyte Harte Hotel in the near future.
Enjoy fine wines, a full a la carte menu in our restaurant, amongst traditional surroundings of this 14th century inn. End the day with a glass of chilled wine next to a blazing log fire on a cold winter's evening or bask in summer sun in our extensive outdoor beer garden.
We can also cater for wedding receptions and group restaurant bookings on request.
